Cherimoya exports reached 403 tons in 2022.
The varieties are: concha lisa, juliana, local serena and bronceada.
It has been cultivated in Chile since the 18th century.
The Chilean cherimoya is highly appreciated in the United States.
It is an excellent source of vitamins B and C, as well as rich in minerals (calcium, iron, phosphorus and potassium).
